                          My project was on San Vitores. He was the guy who changed our name of our Island Guahan. I don’t regret having to do a project on San Vitores. But I was really hoping to get Megellan at first. My partner’s names are Reubin Dela Cruz Trevor McDow. They were really fun to hang out with. We also won 2nd place at the National History Day in Agana Shoppind Center.

                          If I could nt have to do San Vitores and I was able to do the project on anyone else, I would do it on myself. I would choose myself because I know more about myself than anyone knows me. I would do it on my personality and also my family and friends. I would want to do it on my family and friends too is because they play a very important role in my life.

I chose her because she was wanted and they would pay over a illion dollars just to catch her. She took escaped slaves on the undergroung railroad. She was known as the moses of her people. She was the conducter and died in 1913.  That is why March 10 is called Harriet Tubman holiday.

My group’s conclusion about the best park to go to for a family of 4 is Six Flags. But, there was actually a tie between two parks. Six Flags and Paramounts Great America both had $179.96 for the family price. So anyone could have chosen Paramounts Great America. Universal Studios was to cheap and Disneyland was to expensive.

The reason why my group chose Six Flags over Paramounts Great America was because from our experience. Kanani and I both agreed that Six Flags was the best park we’ve ever been to. Mae Ann didn’t go to any of the parks yet. I hope she does so that she could experience all the fun I had. Don’t think that it is boring because you have to wait in line for about an hour but the ride is actually worth waiting for.

          Two things that i learned were both about bullying…

   *My first lesson that I learned was that fighting is not the only way to solve problems. If someone is teasing  you or gossiping about you, you don’t need to go up to them and say,”I heard that you are gossiping about me. You wanna fight?!?” All you need to do is go up to them nicely and ask if it is true. You don’t need to fight with them.

     *My second lesson was about where children go when they are being abused. If your parents, grandparents, guardians, etc. are abusing you, you can go to a shelter caalled the ALEE Shelter. You can go there even as a newborn, but have to get out once you reach the age of 17. There is also a shelter for women too.  Women who are being abused by boyfriends,etc.

Describe the steps of taking good pictures. Use at least 10 digital vocab words.

These are the tips of taking good pictures. If you are taking a picture on macro, then make sure you don’t zoom in too close. If you zoom in to close, the picture will most likely be blurry. also, if you are taking a picture and you move, your picture will look like there are stair stepped squares. That is called pixelization. If you want your camera to auto-focus, press the button halfway down. If you are taking a picture, make sure your fingers are not over the shutter.  If you want to take a good picture, first, find a good spot where there is a good backlit.     

If your picture has some really white parts and some really black parts, then it is high exposure. If you want to save pictures on your camera, then download it onto the computer, you should buy a memory stick or a memory card.If you don’t want your subject to have “red eye“, there is a setting on your camera. A Card Reader a device that you insert flash memory cards into to transfer the data to your computer.                       

 I had 40 responses for my survey. My first question was ” Do you have stairs in your house?” 40% said Yes. 68% said No. My 2nd question was ” What is your favorite color?” All the answers were either pink, purple, blue, green, red, black, or brown. My 3rd question was “Do you have a crazy older sister?” 10% Yes. 70% No. 20% of course. My last question was “What disgusting creature would you rather have?” 10% Rat. 45% Snake. 18% Cockroach. 28% Spider.

I thought the most interesting surveys were Ritacia”s and Aly”s. I liked thier surveys becuase they were funny and wierd. I like answering surveys that are funny and wierd. I also liked Amber’s. She had the wierdest questions of all.

 On Halloween, during school, my friends and I went to the dance. But, the dance was boring and hot! All the DJ did was talk, talk, and talk. I think that that will be the worst dance in History. I am just joking, but it was really hot. I needed aircon in there!

     First, the aids, or whatever you call them, told us to go to our homebase because the DJ was broken. So my friend and I went to walk our other friends to thier classrooms. When we were done walking them to our homebase, we started walking to our homebase. Then when my friend and I were waiting outside for my teacher to come out, the aid came up to us and told us to go back to the dance! Man, that was really confusing!
